Returning to campus has been remarkable for me. As a Hillel alumnus and now the school’s Rabbinic Head since last spring, my mind has taken in so much knowledge, my eyes have seen so much beauty and my heart has been filled with so much love. It is so wonderful to feel the warmth of the Hillel family once again.
Energy on campus is exhilarating! Campus enhancements are new and offer a modern setting for inspirational learning. Faculty are collaborating to teach in teams dedicated to every child reaching his or her full potential. And our community of students, parents, grandparents, alumni and friends are all coming together for this most celebratory year. Hillel’s 40th anniversary is a milestone, and I can’t wait to see us all on campus at special events throughout the year.
I know you remember Hillel as I do, with fond memories dear to my heart. So I cannot wait to welcome you back for a visit so you can see how the essence of our Hillel has been preserved in a way that speaks to today’s generation of children.
I encourage you to join me, come home and help us celebrate Hillel’s 40th anniversary year. Log in and tell your story and what “40 Years of Hillel” means to you. I look forward to celebrating with you.
B’shalom,
Rabbi Chaim Albert, Rabbinic Head and Hillel Alumnus
